The most effective kind of education is that a child should play amongst lovely things."

Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning...they have to play with what they know to be true in order to find out more, and then can use what they learn in new forms of play.”

Mister Rogers

Play is the highest form of research."

Albert Einstein

Children need the freedom and time to play. Play is not a luxury. Play is a necessity."

The Creative Curriculum® is built on theories of development in young children, that all children learn through active exploration of their environment and therefore the environment plays a critical role in learning. The goal of the Creative Curriculum is to help children become independent, selfconfident, inquisitive and enthusiastic learners by actively exploring their environment. The curriculum identifies goals in all areas of development: Social/Emotional, Cognitive, Physical and Language. The planned activities, the organization of the environment, the selection of toys and materials, the daily schedule, are all designed to accomplish the goals and objectives of the curriculum. All lesson plans and activities are also aligned Pennsylvania's Early Learning Standards, ensuring your child is receiving a quality education prior to starting elementary school.
